Christine Liu, DVM

Christine S. Liu, DVM graduated from Cornell University in 1995 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Animal Science (with high honors) and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1999.

Christine grew up in New York City, and for as long as she can remember, she has loved caring for animals.  From adopting neighborhood strays to volunteering at the Staten Island Zoo, Christine always dreamed of being a veterinarian someday.  Christine’s passion for animals fostered a bright academic career in animal science, which included extensive research in reproductive hormones.  During Vet School, Christine confirmed her desire to specialize in small animal medicine through her work with the Cornell Pet Loss Hotline and her externship with the Animal Medical Center in Manhattan.

After Vet School, Christine felt the west calling (and her husband), so she moved to the Bay Area, where she has been practicing small animal medicine ever since.  Christine’s areas of interest include endocrinology, dermatology, and feline/canine  geriatric diseases.  She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Christine enjoys playing tennis, snorkeling, rock climbing, sewing and reading. On her days off, she is busy chasing after her toddler son.  Christine and her family live in Sunnyvale with their cat (Sagwa) and fish (Shadrach).
